Wrong-spec rejection on the shelf
Cool-storage warehouses and Q1 winter conditions can take a perfectly good lot off-listing for cosmetic cloudiness.
Standard frying olein. The volume workhorse — 70% of African retail private-label palm olein ships at this grade.

CP8 is the default for a reason — it's the lowest-cost specification that delivers the frying performance, shelf life, and clarity the African retail and HoReCa channel actually needs. The buyer pain isn't the grade itself; it's everything that gets bundled with it. Brokers re-sell other people's lots without controlling refining. Single-origin contracts get exposed to one country's export-tax cycle and one country's currency swings. Unbranded re-pack arrives at the warehouse without a stable SKU to build retail trust around. The specification is generic; the buying experience shouldn't be. CP8 done right means a single brand on the jerry can, the option to draw from Malaysia or Indonesia each shipment week (whichever quotes better), and a refiner that controls the chemistry so your CoA doesn't drift from one container to the next.
Cool-storage warehouses and Q1 winter conditions can take a perfectly good lot off-listing for cosmetic cloudiness.
A locked Malaysia or Indonesia contract leaves you carrying the full export-tax and currency-cycle risk of one country.
Brokers and re-packers consolidate lots — every container can have a different refiner CoA, even when the pack looks identical.
Halal (JAKIM) · ISO 22000 · HACCP · RSPO · Kosher (request) · GMP

Malaysia / Indonesia (seller's choice)
CP8 is RBD palm olein with cloud point at or below 8°C, iodine value at or above 56, FFA below 0.10 percent, moisture and impurities below 0.10 percent, color 3R Lovibond max, peroxide value below 2.0 meq O2/kg, anisidine value below 5.0, smoke point at least 210°C, shelf life 12 months sealed and 6 months opened. It's the specification most retail house brands and HoReCa frying contracts call out by name because it strikes the practical balance: clearer than CP10 in mid-temperature warehouses, cheaper than CP6 by a small but real margin. In tropical Africa — Lagos, Tema, Abidjan, Mombasa, Dar — where ambient warehouse temperature stays comfortably above 18°C year-round, CP8 stays bright and behaves identically to CP6 on the shelf. The certification stack is the same: Halal (JAKIM), ISO 22000, HACCP, RSPO, Kosher (on request), GMP. Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, CIQ) is your choice — we co-ordinate at the loading port and the COA travels with the shipping documents.

CP8 is a buying decision wrapped around a generic specification. The grade is the same everywhere; the supplier discipline isn't. We run one brand (Super Chef®), draw from Malaysia or Indonesia depending on which origin quotes better that week, take 30/70 payment so neither side carries the full counterparty risk, and let you choose the third-party inspector. The CoA you get on shipment 12 looks like the CoA you got on shipment 1.
CP8 is the spec retail house brands and HoReCa contracts call out by name. We ship it daily.
30 percent TT advance against PI, 70 percent against scanned shipping documents — no surprise terms.
Confirmed Proforma Invoice within 4 business hours of grade + packaging + port + volume.
CP8 stays clear down to 8°C; CP10 hazes around 10°C. In a tropical-only distribution, both work. In any cool-storage scenario or premium HoReCa account, CP8 is the safer floor.
Yes — Super Chef® is our master brand, but contract-pack onto your house brand is available from the 10 FCL/month tier. Lead time adds 2 weeks for label proof + plate.
Some sellers quote RBDPO (RBD Palm Oil — un-fractionated) and label it CP8. RBDPO has a higher cloud point (around 24°C) and is not the same product. Always ask for IV >= 56 + cloud point <= 8°C in writing.
Yes — flexi tank lowest $/MT, 22 MT per 20′ FCL, MOQ 1 FCL. Buyer needs port-side bulk-discharge capability or a re-pack contract.
We hold a quoting relationship with refiners in both countries. The PI carries the origin clause 'Malaysia / Indonesia (seller's choice)' and we lock the actual origin at vessel booking based on which refiner quotes better that week.
Yes — recent CoAs from prior lots are available on request. The COA on your shipment is from the same refiner, same QC lab, issued at loading.
Send your volume, packaging and discharge port. We issue CP8 PIs daily — origin Malaysia / Indonesia (seller's choice), 30/70 standard, SGS / Bureau Veritas inspection.
