How a third-party inspection actually runs

1

Inspector confirmed at PI

You name SGS, BV, Intertek, or CIQ. The PI carries the inspector name; we book the slot at origin against the loading window.

2

Sampling at loading

Inspector takes representative samples at the filling line — typically composite samples per FCL. Sealed and split for buyer/seller/inspector retention.

3

Lab analysis

Inspector's accredited lab tests against the agreed specification — IV, cloud point, FFA, moisture, color, peroxide value, anisidine value. Results in 24–48 hours typically.

4

CoA issued, ships with documents

Certificate of Analysis carries the inspector's seal, lot identification, and lab results. Travels with the B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and Halal certificate.

Frequently asked

Quality & inspection — buyer questions

Buyer's account, buyer's choice. We coordinate the appointment, sampling, and reporting — but the inspector is engaged by you and bills you directly. This keeps the relationship clean and the report independent of the seller.

Yes — every PI confirms the inspector for that shipment. Some buyers rotate (SGS for one shipment, BV for the next) to maintain double-check discipline; most settle on one inspector for relationship continuity.

In the rare case of out-of-spec results from the third-party inspector, the cargo is held at origin until the issue is resolved. Re-blending or re-fractionation happens at our cost. Your 30% advance stays applied to the corrected lot.

For pre-PI evaluation, a CoA from the prior 60 days from the same refinery line is representative. We can share recent CoAs on request — the COA on your shipment is from the same QC lab, issued at loading.

Yes — Super Chef RBD palm olein is Halal-certified by JAKIM (Malaysian Department of Islamic Development). Indonesia origin is MUI-certified equivalent. Halal certificate ships with every consignment.

Available on request — adds 1–2 weeks for the Kosher inspector audit at the loading window. Standard certification stack is Halal-only; Kosher is supplementary.
